Hello
As summer approaches, I want to note some important learning and development offerings. These opportunities are available exclusively to UManitoba employees.
Highlighting the Support Staff Learning and Development Policy: this policy outlines the university’s commitment to supporting the learning and development of support staff employees. Support
staff may be eligible for reimbursement of University of Manitoba undergraduate degree-credit tuition, on a course-by-course basis. This is a great time to consider your plans for fall and winter courses. Interested in Psychology? Want to learn French? You
can take an occasional course or work towards an undergraduate degree – the choice is yours. For more information about eligibility for tuition reimbursement for University of Manitoba undergraduate degree-credit courses, you can review the
Support Staff Learning and Development Procedure document. **Remember that requests for reimbursement
must be submitted to LOD prior to, or no later than at the time of, registering for the course(s).
