I am reaching out with an opportunity to get involved with a department head search committee for the department of Ophthalmology and the department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics. One medical student is required for each committee. Search committees would begin in November 2025 and run until Spring 2026 at the latest.

The commitment will include attending 3-5 mandatory meetings in a hybrid setting, with the longest of these meetings being 1.5-2 hours in length. If you are interested, please respond to this email by Friday October 24 at 11:59pm. I will then forward your name to the committee coordinator who will arrange a voting process for selection of the student.
