Dear Katherine,

We are writing to confirm the most recent installer for Examplify for iPadOS has been released to the App Store.

This update includes an enhancement for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance regarding minimum contrast ratio in various areas. In addition to this, we have corrected the following bugs:

An issue where answer choices were not retained after navigation in some specific scenarios
An issue that would have prevented iPadOS 26 from being supported with Drag and Drop questions
Removed the ability to insert photos while using the spreadsheet tool

In addition to this release, please note that we are still testing upcoming versions of the Apple iPadOS. As of this e-mail, this new version is not certified and students should be reminded not to download or install operating system versions that have not completed the certification process and been updated on our Minimum System Requirements (MSR) page.

As a reminder, the iPadOS version of Examplify is not an optional update. Students will be forced to upgrade when version 5.4.0 is launched.

Actions Required:

As a best practice, instruct exam-takers to verify that their device meets MSRs and to complete a mock exam before taking any assessments.
Share this information with all relevant parties, including members of your team and your exam-takers.
