Hi Med 1’s,

Thank you for your patience while we worked to reschedule the CR and CS sessions cancelled on December 18.

We know your schedules are pretty full, so we tried to balance several factors: providing as much notice as possible (avoiding January!), keeping Monday afternoons protected, timing around your February OSCE, buffering other exams, and classroom/Clinical Educator availability. To make this work, we’ll hold makeup sessions on two dates, for half the class per date. Your assigned session should now appear in Entrada.

• Group B1 (groups T1-10): Friday, February 27, 13:00-16:50
• Group B2 (groups T11-T20): Tuesday, March 10, 13:00-16:50

We would expect that students make arrangements in order to attend these ULOs.

If you have a conflict you can’t resolve, the following options are available to you:

1. You can request a date switch between the two listed above (space will be limited).
1. This option is only available if this will not create a conflict with another Clinical Skills session.
2. Email BOTH year1ugme@umanitoba.ca and CSugme@umanitoba.ca, noting your current makeup session date, a brief explanation of your unresolvable conflict, and a request a switch dates.

2. If switching isn’t possible, email preclerkship@umanitoba.ca by EOD Tuesday, January 20 with details and we will work with you regarding requesting a ULO absence.
