Hi Everyone,

I’ve had a few questions regarding the video speeches, so I want to make sure everyone has the same information:

The video is a fantastic way to show off more of your personality and for people to get to know you— make it what you want! Some people prefer to do a professional-style speech, while others like to have fun with it and use props or actors.
There are no set criteria for the video speeches, and they are meant to be supplemental to your written platforms. If you are not comfortable doing a video speech, you are not required to!

The best advice I can give for applying to any representative role is to show people who you are as a person, think about your goals for the year, and reflect on experiences you think would be an asset to your class council.

Best of luck,
Darci
