Making the Most of the Flipped Classroom (When You Only Teach a Slice of the Course)
Have you been asked to “flip” your teaching, but wonder how it applies when you only lead a small part of a larger course? This interactive 90-minute workshop is designed for clinical and pre-clinical faculty who contribute sessions within broader curricula. Together, we’ll explore the principles of the flipped classroom, look at practical strategies to engage learners before and during class, and share approaches that work even when you only have a short block of teaching time. By the end, you’ll leave with simple, adaptable techniques to enhance your own teaching while aligning with the course as a whole.
