Dear colleagues,

In this final outreach email, I would like to give you an update on the Winnipeg Brain Bee.  Our inaugural Bee was held in March and was a tremendous success!  The winner was Rachel Gador, a Grade 11 student from River East Collegiate, who went on to compete at the Canadian National Brain Bee in Hamilton.

Next year's Brain Bee will be held March 12, 2016, and I will be sending a notice to local teachers next week.  To help promote the competition, I have created a new website which includes photos from this year's event and information for prospective competitors:  http://brainbee.ca/local-bees/winnipeg/

To help spread the word further, I encourage all of you to share this link with the high school students and teachers in your lives.  I will also be putting out a call for volunteers in early December once the registration process is complete.  It is a very rewarding experience and I hope that you will consider taking part.

Thank you once again to everyone who helped out with this year's Brain Bee and to all MNN members for your continued support of our outreach programs.  As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or ideas that you may have.

Best wishes, Sari
