Hello everyone,

I am pleased to unveil the MNN’s full schedule of events for Brain Awareness Week 2018.  Many of these events are for the general public, but please take note of the two special lectures that will be taking place next week.  Dr. Karim Fouad from the University of Alberta will be speaking on Thursday, March 15^th, and on Wednesday, March 14^th, we will be hosting Canada Excellence Research Chair Dr. Pierre Marquet from Universite Laval.  Dr. Marquet is a world leader in the fields of psychiatry and neurophotonics, and his work combines clinical studies with innovative imaging technologies to identify biomarkers for autism, depression, and bipolar disorder.  I encourage you all to attend both lectures.

Dr. Marquet will be available for meetings at the Bannatyne campus on Wednesday, March 14^th.  If you would like to meet with him, please send an email to Kae Normandeau kae.normandeau@umanitoba.ca by Wednesday, March 7^th.
