As the Manitoba Neuroscience Network prepares to debut a new visual identity and website, we continue to explore ideas that will allow us to communicate with each other and globally with greater effectiveness, efficiency and expediency.
Part of this goal will be met by using social media. MNN recently began using Twitter and Instagram to communicate research and outreach events, accomplishments, news and more. If you use Twitter (@manitobaneuro) or Instagram (manitobaneuroscience), please
give us a follow and help us grow our reach. Stay tuned for information about Youtube, Facebook and Linkedin as well.
IMPORTANT: We can re-tweet news from other organizations as part of our strategy but in the end the quality of our output is only as good as our ability to gather data about our accomplishments. If you have anything exciting
happening in your lab or to/with your trainees/staff, please don’t hesitate to forward it to us at
kaeleen.normandeau@umanitoba.ca so we can spread the word. This could mean awards, grants, papers accepted, media exposure, interesting news items, conferences…anything noteworthy really. Help us create
the strongest international perception possible for the Manitoba Neuroscience Network.
Thanks.
Chris
