It’s my pleasure to introduce Manitoba neuroscientists to Dr. Tabrez Siddiqui as the most recent faculty appointee to the Neuroscience Research Program at the University of Manitoba/Health Sciences Centre.  Dr. Siddiqui is appointed in the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology but his research program will be located in the Kleysen Institute Neuroscience Research Program.  His office phone is 204-318-2564 and his email address is Tabrez.siddiqui@med.umanitoba.ca.

Dr. Siddiqui received his PhD in  Neurobiology from the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen, Germany.  He was a postdoctoral fellow and Research Associate in the Department of Psychiatry at UBC in Dr. Ann Marie Craig’s laboratory.  His research interests are in synaptic development and organization.
