Call for 2015 Spinal Cord Injury Research Projects Grant Applications
The Manitoba Spinal Cord Injury Research Committee (MSCIRC) is now accepting applications for spinal cord injury research projects in Manitoba.
Purpose Grants provided through this initiative aim to increase understanding of spinal cord function, reduce the disability related to spinal cord injury, increase functional capacity after spinal cord injury, reduce the incidence and effects of secondary complications after spinal cord injury, and increase quality of life and community integration after spinal cord injury. In addition, funding is available for projects that will clearly lead to reduced SCI-related health care costs and projects that have the potential to address SCI-related research and health delivery gaps in Manitoba.
Eligibility Grant applications will only be considered from applicants conducting spinal cord injury research and who are appointed at accredited educational institutions, disability related organizations, research institutions or hospitals. Please see attached awards guide for further information.
