Good morning, Nursing Students!

We are holding a financial literacy presentation on January 29, 2024, at 5:30pm with Canada Life financial advisor Lucas Coulson. It’s no secret that financial planning is extremely important, especially for careers such as nursing where your income potential can be quite high. This presentation will highlight some of the main things nurses should be concerned with when it comes to their financial planning; such as the various types of insurance that are available, both individual, association and union coverage. We will also discuss the basics of investing and look at the different options that are available through your employers and individually. The main idea is to educate on the basics of financial planning. Getting ahead and knowing what to expect when you begin your careers can make a huge difference with your overall financial health so don’t miss out on the education or the free pizza!
