Hello everyone,

If you’re looking to certify or recertify your BLS for school or work this year, I will be offering several classes in April and May, including day, evening, and weekend options. Continue below for my class schedules. My training fee is $45 + GST, making me one of the most affordable providers in the area.

As a 2012 nursing graduate from the University of Manitoba, I’ve been teaching BLS since 2020 and am also a Clinical Education Facilitator for the UofM nursing program. My courses are accredited through the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, a leading organization in life-saving research and up-to-date training. This ensures you’re receiving the most current and accurate information available.

The training is open to everyone, whether you’ve previously learned BLS through the Heart and Stroke Foundation or not. If your current certification is not through Heart and Stroke, you must pay a fee and complete a short test prior to attending the class. I am located at 1311 Dakota Street in the south end of Winnipeg, with easy access to bus routes and a parking lot in front of the building.

I’ve attached my April and May course dates. To sign up, simply reply to this email with the following details:

• Your top 3 class choices (date & time)

• Your first and last name

• Your email address (please provide your Heart and Stroke email if you have one)

I will register participants in the order I receive requests, aiming to accommodate your first choice. Classes fill up quickly, especially during this busy season, so please respond as soon as possible.

Once registered, I will send you course details and payment instructions. Each class lasts approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes.
