Hello Nursing Students,

My name is Sophie, and I am your Programming Chair in the Nursing Students' Association.

Thank you to everyone that has been a part of our events so far - with the help of some lovely volunteers, and a great events team, we were able to host the Code Red Social and a free pizza lunch in September!

While we have a few October plans in the works, the events team is looking forward to the winter holidays in the hopes of organizing a Winter Gala to celebrate you, and all the hard work put in (and still to be put in 😉) this semester!

However, with an event of this scale, we need to know if students are interested before any concrete plans are made.

We ask that you please fill out the Google Form linked below to let us know if this is an event you would be interested in attending. Even if you are unable to attend, please include this response on the form.

NSA Winter Gala

Hello Nursing Students! Although it may seem far away, December will be around before we know it - and your NSA wants to celebrate the end of Fall Term by hosting a Winter Holiday Gala! Because of the scale of the event, we want to check in first with you to see what interest is like. Here's what we know so far: - the event would be held towards the end of exam week, but AFTER ALL NURSING EXAMS ARE DONE. This means the gala would likely happen between the 19th and 21st of December, schedule dependent. - some venue options so far include (but are not limited to) the Leaf at Assiniboine Park, and the Fort Garry Hotel. - ticket prices are likely to be around $50-60, and would include dinner and a dance.
