Hi everyone.
Blanket Exercise Workshop for College of Nursing Faculty and Staff
The College of Nursing will be hosting the Blanket Exercise Workshop for all faculty and staff in the College of Nursing. We encourage all faculty and staff in the College participate in one of the Blanket
Exercises.
The following video from KAIROS Canada provides an overview of the
Blanket Exercise Workshop.
Each workshop will accommodate 30-40 participants. Registration is required. We are beginning with the following two dates for the workshop:
June 12th, from 9 am – 1230 pm
June 20th , from 9am – 1230 pm
The first 40 applicants will be registered for each workshop. You will receive registration confirmation if your application has been accepted. Further applicants for each event will be placed on a waitlist.
If you are registered for this event, and something changes to your availability, please ensure that you let me know of your change of status so that we may offer your seat to another individual.
The Blanket Exercise Workshops will be facilitated by Debra Beach Ducharme – Director, Indigenous Health Integration, Ongomiizwin Education, and Brenda Longclaws, Knowledge Keeper in residence, College
of Nursing.
Not all faculty and staff will be accommodated by these two dates, further dates will be planned for the Fall to support all faculty and staff to participate in these events.
Please note that these workshops will begin with a smudging ceremony.
Further details and registration links will be provided at a later date.
