Please be advised that we would like to extend the Systems Shutdown for the Type 1 Abatement to include this evening from the hours of 5pm to 12am for the contractors to complete the abatement work. During the HVAC shutdown, the building
will be without a conditioned air supply.

A pre-qualified asbestos abatement contractor has been employed for the scope of work. All work is to be performed in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health Regulations for the province of Manitoba, in addition to University standards
as outlined in the Asbestos Management Program.
Throughout the abatement, external environmental health and safety consultants will be reviewing the work for compliance purposes. In addition, air monitoring will be performed by the consulting agency throughout the duration of the project.
