The following is being sent on behalf of Doug Cattani, Acting Dept Head:

_________________________

Good morning,

Effective February 20, 2024, watering and any other daily required management practices of all plant materials meant for research purposes in any of the controlled plant growth facilities during the weekdays will need to be handled by the personnel conducting the research. Given the current workload of the greenhouse staff, this needs to be implemented to allow for the management and upkeep of our growth facilities.

Please note: the weekend waterers will continue watering research plant materials as instructed and that the greenhouse staff will still assist with application of chemicals against disease or insects when the need arises.
