Hi everyone!

   There are 3 pieces of news:

   1) Great job everyone on bringing in food for the hamper! For those 
of you who did not get the chance to sign up for an item, we still 
need to buy the family gifts. You can donate money and the PSGSA will 
buy the gifts. You can give your money to Iris, Meghan, Anne, 
Victoria, Muthu, Teresa or Jessica. Please try to have in your money 
and food brought in by this Friday.

   2) Starting this Thursday December 11, we will be having treats at 
coffee time for the holiday season! The treats will be free (provided 
graciously by the social committee)... so come to the grad lounge at 
10 am for coffee, or tea, or just to have some yummy treats! ... and 
if you feel like bringing something so share with everyone, you can do 
that too.

   3) Next week on Thursday December 18th at 2:00 pm in room 218 is 
the Plant Science Department christmas party, so make sure you come 
because there will be food, drinks and games. The party will end 
around 4:00 ... but not for the grad students! We will be going out 
for drinks afterwards ... probably at Tavern.
