Dear all,

I would like to thank everyone for providing me a great opportunity to serve PSGSA as the president. I am currently looking at ways to improve the activities of PSGSA which will directly benefit everyone in our department. I would like to hear from you more about what you think could be done through PSGSA. Your suggestions in this regard are greatly appreciated.

I have two plans right now. 1 - setting up a notice board perhaps at the graduate lounge/any common area and display the relevant opportunities arising at international level (graduate openings, job vacancies, post-doc positions, etc.). 2- starting discussion groups or other initiatives with the aim of preparing phd students for candidacy exams.
