Good
Morning All,
This
email message is being forwarded on behalf of Karin
Wittenberg, Associate Dean (Research), Faculty of Agricultural
and Food Sciences:
Good Afternoon,
The Life
Science Association of Manitoba (LSAM) is
the voice and organizational nucleus for the life science
industry of Manitoba. LSAM focuses on attentive, proactive and
timely services and programs to over 90 member organizations.
We constantly strive to understand which products, services
and support our members value most, and create partnerships
and programs to deliver them.
LSAM would like to provide an opportunity for any
undergraduate, technical, graduate and professional life
science student from public and private colleges and
universities, and technology campuses to participate in the 10th
Annual Life Science Alley Conference and Expo in Minneapolis,
Minnesota
The Alley Institute Student Research Poster
Session provides an opportunity for college/university
students to share their research and receive feedback from
industry professionals and from their academic colleagues.
Research categories cover a wide variety of topics across the
life sciences including basic
science research, clinical science research, technology
innovation and improvements, and clinical and business
practices.
As such, LSAM would be happy to support (travel
and accommodations up to $1000) for
up to two students who are selected to present
and wish to go down and be a part of this presentation and
conference. The LSA Conference and
Expo is December 7, 2011.
Please see attached information and application
process. Applications are due by November 10, 2011. If
selected, LSAM will need to be notified immediately and will
require details of the poster presentation, including
supporters and faculty advisors.
