Subject: Service Disruption - Plant Science - Access Shutdown -South Stairwell - August 30th to Sept 10th, 2021

Overview:                Contractors will be working on the Plant Science Building windows in the South Stairwell the weeks of August 30^th and September 6^th, 2021.

During this time they will close the stairwell to general use but will maintain it so that it can be used in the case of an emergency, for example,  a fire alarm.

The work within the stairwell will involve the use of a bakers scaffold which will be set up and taken down each day when work is occurring. Access to the North Stairwell will be maintained at all times. Contractor will put signs on the doors to the South Stairwell to inform people of the closure and to only use in the case of an emergency.  The sign will also direct people to use the North Stairwell.”
