As many of you know, I'm retiring.

I've really enjoyed working with you and will miss you all.

An important part of the graduate student experience is connecting with fellow grad students. Prior to the pandemic, grad students knew each other and came together for coffee and social activities.  Covid isolated people. There's an iniative underway to bring the department as a whole and grad students together again. I encourage you to reach out to your fellow students, to get to know each other, to discuss, debate and have some fun.
