Today Research Manitoba is pleased to announce the results of the 2023 Research Manitoba Grants and Awards Competition with a total investment of $ 962,010.00 (Research Manitoba Funding: $703,950 / Partner Funding: $258,060) in research funding to support a total of 52 grants in the following categories:

 

 

In addition to the funding from our partners, Research Manitoba is thrilled to announce that we are solely funding 15 PhD Health Research Studentship Awards this competition cycle. This is the first time since 2017 that Research Manitoba has been able to provide students at the PhD level with Research Manitoba funds. Two of this year’s successful Postdoctoral Fellows are also solely funded by Research Manitoba.

 

Research Manitoba plans to fund across the disciplines (including Social Sciences and Humanities, and Natural Sciences and Engineering) as part of its next trainee competition.
