Dr. Lewis Kay will be visiting the University of Manitoba to deliver the Gairdner Lecture on October 26, 2026 from 1-2pm. Dr. Kay is an internationally recognized researcher who will visit UM to share his groundbreaking work on protein structure, movement and function.

As part of the visit, Dr. Kay will meet with a group of 10 trainees for a mentorship session on the Bannatyne campus on October 26, 2026 from 2:30-4:00pm. Limited spots are available, so please fill out the expression of interest form by Oct 12. Participants will be considered mainly on a first-come, first-served basis, however priority may be given to students whose research areas align most closely with those of Dr. Kay. Further information will be sent directly to selected students in mid-October.
