The
Manitoba Health Research Poster Competition (June 8) for graduate students is a great venue for students from across the health spectrum (Animal Science to
Zoology... as broad as the CIHR mandate) to gain practice in presentation, receive feedback from experienced judges (awards of excellence are also
available), and network with students from across the breadth of health research, both here and nationally. The opportunities for networking within the Canadian Student Health Research Forum (CSHRF) are broad, from social events (June 10)
such as a social evening and dinner as well as
tours... the broad-spectrum symposium by Gairdner laureates (June 11) and meeting with CIHR leadership for a workshop on Career Development (June 12).
And it’s all free for participants, so I'd encourage you consider this opportunity and to pass the message along to your colleagues. For
