Message from Dr. Kelley Main, Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies

 Dear Postdoctoral Fellows,

I am excited to invite you to participate in the third annual 3MP (3 Minute Postdoctoral Competition) designed exclusively for postdoctoral fellows. This competition is a great opportunity to showcase your research, sharpen your communication skills, and connect with colleagues and fellow researchers across disciplines.

Details of the competition are as follows:
🗓 Deadline to apply: August 18, 2025
🗓 Date of the competition: September 19, 2025
🕒 Time: 2:00pm - 3:30pm
📍 Location: Fort Garry Campus, Senate Chambers, E3-262 Engineering Building

Inspired by the popular 3MT® (Three Minute Thesis) competition, the 3MP challenges you to present your research clearly and compellingly, in just three minutes and using only one static slide. Whether you’re working on a cutting-edge discovery, an innovative project, or a collaborative study, this is your chance to bring your research to a broader audience.

To apply for the competition, you will need to complete the application found here. The deadline to apply is August 18, 2025.

Last year’s competition recording can be viewed here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRzW1tXHN8I

If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to reach out to our organizing committee at graduate.communications@umanitoba.ca.

We look forward to receiving your application. Let's celebrate the excellence of postdoctoral research together!
