Subject: Registration for CSEE-CBA 2023

Dear Dean Pflugmacher Lima: The Faculty of Environment, Earth & Resources’ Gold Sponsorship of CSEE-CBA 2023 entitles your faculty to 2 complimentary registration tickets for this summer’s conference, which you are welcome to assign to individuals of your choice, or donate back to the conference to be used to offset registration costs of individuals applying for subsidized registration via our conference equity fund.

Your registrants are also welcome to select other events when they register, though they will have to pay for options such as field trips that are not included with the complimentary registrations. These optional events include possible field trips (11 June), workshops (11 June), the opening reception at Winnipeg Art Gallery's Qaumajuq Inuit Gallery (Evening, 11 June), and the Public Plenary Lecture at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (Evening, 12 June). There is no charge for the opening reception or public plenary, but we issue 'tickets' to avoid exceeding the capacity of the venues for those events.

We also encourage your registrants to attend the closing Soirée on 14 June, an informal picnic style dinner with awards, an auction and music at 'le patio 340', which is a large outdoor patio next to Stella's patio at CCFM in the St. Boniface area of Winnipeg. Registration for the Soirée costs $60/person and should be a lot of fun.

You can find details of all events on the conference website: www.beepeg2023.ca. Scientific sessions (contributed papers) are not listed yet, though there is a description of all workshops and symposia.

Let us know if you have questions or if you or your designated registrants have any trouble when registering.

Thanks again for your sponsorship of CSEE-CBA 2023!

Jim
