EDIA 0100: Foundations – Commit to change
Over 500 people at UM have strengthened their commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility by taking EDIA 0100: Foundations, and so can you!
This course, offered through the Division of Extended Education in collaboration with the Office of Equity Transformation, is offered to all UM staff, students, and faculty at no cost to learners.
You’ll learn about EDIA concepts and actions through a mix of in-person and online elements, as well as two group sessions, all led by a supportive instructor. The 18-hour course is taught over 4 months, so there’s lots of flexibility to fit this in around other commitments. Learners will receive a digital badge on successful completion, and the course is the pre-requisite for the Micro-certificate in EDIA.
EDIA 0100: Foundations will run September 8 to December 13, 2026. Sign up between June 29 and July 27 to enter the lottery for the next offering.
