Across the Generations Trivia Night
The BETY Lab is hosting a fundraising trivia event at VWs Social Club with all proceeds going towards the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation to fund activities and recreational programs for youth with disabilities.

Generative AI: Copyright ownership and responsibilities
This workshop covers copyright issues in Generative AI, including the use of materials as input, generated outputs, licensing considerations, user liability, and ownership of AI-generated content, with a focus on research, teaching, and workplace use at UM.

Reading to Write - Summer 2026 Program (Online session)
A free, three-week online program that builds academic reading and writing skills with tutor feedback. It is non-credit, has no grades or penalties, is eligible for Experiential Record Credit, and is best suited for students with fewer than 60 credit hours.

If you regularly use images in your work, it’s important to consider copyright, as citing an image does not always allow reuse. This session covers image copyright, including ownership, when exemptions may apply, where to find free-to-use images, and how open licenses like Creative Commons work.
