The Office of Parking & Transportation & Office of Sustainability have been working together closely on a new bike parking option and are happy to announce that there will soon be some new bike parking options available near your building. I would like to ask if you mind distributing the information below to students, faculty and staff who may be interested from your faculty and/or department?

NEW BIKE PARKING OPTION COMING SOON

A new shared bike pod will be installed adjacent to your building. These bike pods will be equipped with Bluetooth locks that can be conveniently unlocked using a smart phone app. Each pod has six accessible, secure, weather-resistant bike parking spaces. Although the pods provide an added layer of protection, cyclists are still advised to use their own locks to secure their bikes within the pod due to the shared design. Pod parking will be available for a small monthly fee and will be available for sale through the Parking Portal on a reoccurring credit card plan. If you are interested in renting a bike parking stall in a new pod, you can be placed on a bike pod waitlist.
