Nominations for the 2026 Sustainability Awards are now open

 

Do you know a student, professor or staff member who’s making UM more sustainable? Maybe they’ve led a zero-waste event, brought sustainability into their coursework or inspired others to take action.  Now’s your chance to celebrate their impact! 

  

The UM Sustainability Awards recognize and celebrate the collaborative efforts of University of Manitoba students, faculty and staff in advancing our commitment to excellence and leadership in sustainability. Sustainability Award winners create MomentUM by advancing knowledge that matters, empowering learners, and reimagining engagement through their campus sustainability efforts.

 

The UM Sustainability Awards recognize recipients in the following categories:

·                Undergraduate sustainability award

·                Graduate sustainability award

·                Student group sustainability award

·                Staff sustainability award

·                Faculty sustainability award

·                Collaborative sustainability award

 

The deadline for nominations is February 6
