Faculty and Staff:

This is a challenging message to share. Due to a budgetary shortfall, the Riddell Faculty must make targeted staffing adjustments to align resources with current funding realities and program needs. 

As a result:

• One vacant budget-funded AESES position has been eliminated via vacancy management
• One budget-funded AESES position has been moved to grant funding
• Two budget-funded AESES positions have been discontinued
• One budget-funded Academic term position has been discontinued

These decisions were not made lightly and reflect the difficult balance between responding to current financial pressures and ensuring the Faculty’s long-term sustainability and ability to support its academic mission. 

All affected staff have been notified, and we are working closely with Human Resources to provide support during this transition, including exploring potential redeployment opportunities within the university.
