If you are interested in applying to Horizon Europe and looking for partners to join or form a consortium, here is an opportunity to virtually meet potential collaborators:

 

Advancing Ocean Science Matchmaking Event – February 3, 2026

This online matchmaking event for Horizon Europe Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment) and the EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters” will bring together researchers and innovators from Canada, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, and Portugal to form new collaborations and share expertise in ocean science. Featured topics will include sustainable fisheries, aquatic pollution, biodiversity, and conservation.

 

The event will begin with the host nations highlighting their research priorities and capacities relating to ocean science. Following this, participants will be invited to join breakout rooms for the matchmaking session where there will be opportunities to highlight your expertise and hear from potential partners. Please register here as soon as possible; registration closes January 26.

If you plan to pitch, please register by January 21, specifying your preferred breakout room, and including a 200-word summary of your pitch with your registration.
