Dear Student,

You are invited to participate in a research study exploring how students with minority identity markers experience and understand success in healthcare education programs. In this study, “minority identity markers” refers to students who identify as racialized, immigrant, international, language-minority, or from other groups that may be underrepresented in healthcare education.

Who can participate?

You may participate if you:

 

 What is involved?

• One individual interview lasting approximately 60–90 minutes
• At the beginning of the interview, you will be asked a few brief demographic questions (5–10 minutes)
• The interview will take place in person or via UM Zoom
• The interview will be audio-recorded

You will receive a $25 gift card as a token of appreciation. Participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time without penalty.
