The University of Manitoba, Faculty of Graduate Studies is pleased to support the Graduate and
Postdoctoral Development Network (GPDN) in hosting the 2nd annual Canadian Career Symposium for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows, October 18-21, 2021. It is aimed at professional development
and career exploration for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
The symposium includes a keynote address from Molly Grisham,
presentations from Loleen Berdahl and Jonathon Malloy, as well as career sessions delivered by GPDN career experts on topics
including individualized development plans and career planning, positive psychology in the job search, getting a foot in the door, labour market information, and more.
Registration for graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and staff who work in graduate student and postdoctoral fellow professional development of registered universities is available at no cost. Event details can
