National Forum on anti-Asian racism: Building Solidarities

(UMIH + University of Ryerson + OCUFA + Shiseido) 

November 9th 2021 - November 10th 2021 

We are excited to encourage folks and community members to attend The National Forum on Anti-Asian Racism: Building Solidarities. This forum will bring together students, staff, faculty and academic leaders, as well as community partners, to engage in a timely and open dialogue about anti-Asian racism in Canada’s post-secondary education sector. Hosted by the Faculty of Arts, this two-day event will build on the important work initiated by the University of British Columbia at its inaugural National Forum on Anti-Asian Racism in June 2021. We are also very excited to invite folks to this panel, part of the MOSAIC lecture series. Join UMIH research affiliate Melanie Dennis Unrau (Colombia University), Chigbo Arthur Anyaduba (University of Winnipeg), Melanie Braith (University of Manitoba) and Sean Singh Matharoo (University of North Carolina Chapel Hill) in their discussion, part of the Relative Time/Little Time series.
