The UMIH Research Cluster on Writing Towards a Just world is thrilled to invite interested folks to register for The 2023 OpEd Project. The OpEd Project is a U.S.-based organization whose mission is to change who writes history (https://www.theopedproject.org/mission), offering workshops that aim to accelerate the ideas of underrepresented thinkers, including but not limited to women of all backgrounds.

The core workshop, Write to Change the World, is being offered online during reading week (Feb. 23 and 24 from 9 am to 12:30 pm CT). The Institute for Humanities can cover a limited number of participants. Please contact umih@umanitoba.ca with the email heading: OpEd Project registration to express interest and register.

More details about the workshop are linked here
