Dear WISDOM Membership,

WISDOM is hosting a Panel Event in December! We would love to hear from caregivers in STEM and how they navigate balancing caregiving and STEM careers.

Whether you are caring for children, elderly parents, siblings, or are a guardian in any capacity, we are interested in learning how you are able to manage all the responsibilities that come with both academics and familial or parental duties. We are looking for broad representation across our panel including stages such as graduate students, post-doctoral, staff, and faculty. In addition, panellists of all genders should apply!

Your stories are invaluable and would help shed light on the work that individuals in STEM do to balance these roles. We would love to hear from your lived experiences and believe your advice for others facing similar challenges would offer insight, solidarity, and can provide necessary information to others who are planning their future or facing these struggles. We want to listen to your perspectives- the challenges, struggles, and joys that come from this demanding position.
