Hi WISDOM members!

The Women in Science: Development, Outreach, and Mentorship (WISDOM) Learner Commitee is happy to invite you to its fifth annual movie screening and lunch! This will take place on June 3^rd, 2025 in Theatre B of the Basic Medical Sciences Building at the Bannatyne Campus. This event is open to EVERYONE — you don’t need to be part of WISDOM or identify as a woman in science to join us.

Lunch will be provided from 11:30-12:30 with some inspiring words from guest speaker and astrophysicist Vesna Milosevic-Zdjelar. The movie will begin at 12:30 ending around 2:30pm. We will be showing Hidden Figures. This movie shares the story of three brilliant African-American women at NASA who played an integral role in one of the greatest space operations in history.
