The TYPE COMMENT command is very useful to display the label associated with
an entered variable value during the data entry.
Example: go the checks file and select sex then click Edit.

Now edit the CHECK command as follow:

SEX
      TYPE COMMENT
       COMMENT LEGAL USE label_sex
  END
Accept and close then save; the label should appear when to try to enter
value for sex into the rec file.

Kind regards

Tieble
