[EpiData-list] Files won't open on remote computer

Good suggestion to zip and send as zip files.

There is no need for winzip. You can do the zipping in EpiData Entry 
(see tools menu)-create archive (sender) or restore archive (recipient). 
You can also use the chk file command "backup", see the help file.
