Dear Amanat,

It is straight forward to export data from epidata to SPSS. When you click on (6. Export Data) button on the epidata process toolbar, you will see the option SPSS in it.

It will create a spss program file with extention (filename.sps) and data file (filename.txt). After that you have to open that spss program in syntax editor and select all (Ctrl+A) and then run that program. You data was imported in the SPSS.

Then save your data in SPSS format (filename.sav).

Dear colleagues,
I have designed a long questionnaire (more than 600 lines) for national
survey data.
Clearly, I could have done related rec files, unfortunately the data entry
Clerc wanted all questionnaire on one page.
After reading few records using the analysis or view data there appears to
be a problem.
Although some fields have been entered in the data entry form, the data
does not show in the analysis (using Epidata Analysis, Stata, Excel).
Is there any other way to analyis this data beside editing manuelly ?
Kind regards

Tieble
