The Alumni Association Inc. of the University of Manitoba offers two annual scholarships for students who have excelled in their studies and have demonstrated leadership and/or commitment to voluntarism during the course of their academic career.
Two scholarships valued at $3,750 each will be offered to undergraduate students who:
(1) have successfully completed the second year of full-time study at the University of Manitoba (minimum of 48 credit hours), in any faculty or school; (2) will be in the next ensuing academic session (2010/11), enrolled full-time (minimum 60% course load) in the third year of study in any faculty or school; (3) have achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0 or, as students in the Undergraduate Medical Education Program, are in good academic standing; (4) have demonstrated strong leadership abilities and/or a strong commitment to community through their volunteer activities.
