Background: Yesterday, I learned that residents along Wellington had started a petition of their own to counter the messaging in the media and have their own say. It is intended to reflect the views of the majority of their neighbours who, according to their experience and the data, support open streets and are concerned about the process seems like it would lead to their early closure if a vote is successful at Council this Thursday.
