All students need to re-apply for the Work-Study program every year due to financial aid requirements.
1. Students must apply to the Work-Study program prior to submitting their applications to specific postings.
2. Deadline to apply for the program is on September 12, 2023 at noon.
3. Deadline to submit application packages for jobs is on September 14, 2023 at noon.
To apply for Work-Study:
1. Register or log-in to your existing UMConnect<http://uofmcareerservices.ca/> account.
2. On the navigation pane on the left hand side, navigate towards Work-Study then Work-Study Program Application.
3. Complete and submit the form for a pre-approved Work-Study access. After submitting the form, you will need to click on the "Accept" button on the right hand side under "Action required by you" to view and apply to job postings.

Practicum Advisors
Teacher Candidates have been emailed the names and contacts for their Practicum Advisors during practicum. Please contact John Finch at: pracfpl.education(a)umanitoba.ca<mailto:pracfpl.education@umanitoba.ca> if you have not received this information. Teacher Candidates will meet with their Practicum Advisors together with their practicum seminar group during B.Ed Orientation from 11 am to noon on September 1.
Practicum Advisor names have not yet been emailed to Teacher Candidates. If possible, they will be sent prior to the mandatory Orientation Day on September 1. You will meet with your Practicum Advisor in groups during Orientation, with your Practicum Advisor name and meeting location listed on your schedule, picked up at registration that morning.
