22nd Annual Keeping the Fires Burning Event

Dear Colleagues, I am pleased to let you know that Rady Faculty of Health Sciences has purchased a table (10 seats) at the 22nd Annual Keeping the Fires Burning Event, which is taking place on June 15th at the RBC Convention Centre. Keeping the Fires Burning is an annual fundraising event that also recognizes and honours Elders, Knowledge Keepers, Grandmothers and Grandfathers. Please see further information in the email below. Ableism Policy Working Group

Hi Everyone, Dr. Marcia Anderson, Vice-Dean, Indigenous Health, Social Justice and Anti-Racism, is leading the process for the development of a policy on ableism for the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. To assist in the development of the policy, she is establishing an Ableism Policy Working Group and is asking each College to name a representative to participate on the Working Group.
