Good Morning,
As of today, we are allowed to resume normal activities in the Seed Processing and Seed Storage buildings at the point. Normal operations can continue until the Red River rises above its lower banks in the spring of 2024, or March 31st, 2024, whichever is soonest.
If you notice any new cracking, movement or changes in the foundation/building, please notify the department asap.
Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.
Thanks,
Rob

The University of Manitoba campuses are located on original lands of Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. I respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and dedicate myself to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
