Endnote helps you organize references and PDFs and allows you to easily create bibliographies using 1000s of predetermined styles. This session will guide you through the layout of Endnote, how to import and export references, how to share reference lists with colleagues, how to locate full-text articles, and how to create a bibliography in the style (e.g., Vancouver, APA, MLA) that you need. Open Science Series: Open Science & the Public Tuesday Feb. 23 from 12-1pm; register via: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/806450478553348737 * Much of the Open Science movement was propelled by a collective desire to make publicly funded research available to the public, but does “open” mean “publicly accessible”? What are the best sources for public consumption of research and how should those sources differ from academic ones? Participants will learn about best practices and guidelines for designing effective infographics and evaluating them. In the latter part of the session attendees will get a chance to go through the entire design process of an infographic for a particular scenario using Piktochart. The opportunities for networking within the Canadian Student Health Research Forum (CSHRF) are broad, from the virtual student networking sessions... the broad-spectrum symposium by Gairdner laureates (June 16) and a workshop on Career Development (June 14).
