Registration Deadline Reminder – midnight tonight!
Please share with students in your department
In response to the apparent impact of the pandemic environment on the distribution of information regarding Research Days (the Manitoba component of the Canadian Student Health Research Forum), we are extending the deadline for abstracts in the Manitoba Health Research Poster Competition to March 22. Please distribute this information to all who may be interested and contact us regarding any circumstances that require special consideration. Our hope is that, despite the challenging external conditions, we can provide all eligible Manitoba graduate students with an experience that adds value to their research and communication skills as well as recognizes excellence.

The Manitoba Health Research Poster Competition (June 11) for graduate students is a great venue for students from across the health spectrum (Animal Science to Zoology... as broad as the CIHR mandate) to gain practice in presentation, receive feedback from experienced judges (awards of excellence are also available), and network with students from across the breadth of health research, both here and nationally. The opportunities for networking within the Canadian Student Health Research Forum (CSHRF) are broad, from the virtual student networking sessions... the broad-spectrum symposium by Gairdner laureates (June 16) and a workshop on Career Development (June 14).
And it’s all free for participants, so I'd encourage you consider this opportunity and to pass the message along to your colleagues. For more information please see:
