We are getting closer to the UofM Food Bank SPOOKTACULAR CANDY SALE, and we would love your support to make this event a huge success! This fun and exciting fundraiser will help us raise essential funds for the students who rely on our food bank every month. We also want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has already donated candy to support this cause! If you would like to purchase some spooky treats, here are the details for the candy sale: Candy Sale Details:
* Dates: October 31st
* Location: University Centre (UMSU)* and Armes Building (SSA Lounge) *Please note: The Food Bank will now be accepting card payments at our University Centre table! * Times: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Our dedicated volunteers have been hard at work preparing spooky candy bags, which will be available for purchase during the event for as little as $3! You can also surprise your colleagues at UofM by purchasing a candy bag and arranging a fun, spooky delivery with our volunteers. Every dollar raised will directly support the purchase of food and hygiene products for students in need. As Halloween approaches, we want to remind you that it is not too late to contribute! We are still accepting candy donations until October 29th. If you would like to donate a bag or box of your favorite Halloween treats, please drop them off at the following locations: Candy Drop-Off Locations:
* 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM: 422 University Center (Financial Aid and Awards Office) * 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM: 518 University Center (Food Bank) If your office or group would like to make a larger donation, just send us an email at foodbank@umanitoba.ca, and we will arrange a pick-up with our team of volunteers.
